Swillas Engineering limited, is THE renewable Energy based company with over fourteen years experience in the manufacturing, maintenance and installation of solar inverters, solar water pumps solar street lighting to mention a few having identified the lack of practical knowledge in the Electrical/Electronic Engineering in many of our ND, HND, B. ENG graduates from higher institutions is organising an intensive technical training programme to help bridge the gap between theory and practise. The training will enable participants to be equipped with adequate skills for self-employment/practice in their area of specialization or employment in their dream jobs.

The training will cover the following areas:

1. THE USE OF ELECTRONIC WORK BENCH
+ The use of digital multimeters, Function Generators Oscilloscopes etc in the Electronic work bench.
+ How to test/read component with Electronic work bench.
+ Designing and simulation of electronic circuits using electronic work bench.

2. BASIC ELECTRONICS PRACTICE
+ Component identification and usage in circuit Designs.
+ Practical use of digital multimeters, function generators, oscilloscopes etc.
+ How to test/read components.
+ Soldering.
+ Design and implementation of electronic circuits/projects using bread board and veroboards.
+ Designing and simulation of electronic circuit using electronic workbench.

3. SOLAR POWER SYSTEMS (DESIGN, INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE)
A. Solar powered inverter
+ Practical connections of solar panels and configuration.
+ Transformer design for inverters.
+ MOSFET/IGBT Assembling for inverters.
+ Inverter circuit design.
+ Simulation of design using Electronic Workbench Software.

B. Solar street light
+ Practical installation of solar street light.
+ Calculation relating to sizing of solar street Light/panel and batteries.
+ Connections of charge controllers/regulators for Solar Street Lights.
+ Trouble shooting of faults/maintenance of solar street lights.

C. Solar water pump
+ Practical installation of solar water pumps.
+ Calculations relating to sizing of solar water pumps, solar panels and batteries.
+ Connection of submersible water pumps and controllers, level switches etc.
+ Trouble shooting of faults/maintenance of solar water pumps.

4. ELECTRICAL DESIGNING, WIRING AND INSTALLATION
+ Building wiring.
+ Trouble shooting of faults in buildings.
+ Electrical installation in building using software approach.

DURATION: 1 MONTH

COST: N60,000


5.    ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS DESIGN USING MICRO-CONTROLLERS AND PIC   
+    The use of c language in programming micro-controllers.
+    Design and implementation of various circuits using micro-controllers.

DURATION: 1 MONTH
COST: N60,000

6.    GENERATOR REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE
       DURATION: 3 WEEKS

7.    ELECTRICAL MOTORS   
+    Maintenance of electric motors.
+    Rewinding and overhauling.
+    Trouble shooting.
+    Protection.

DURATION: 1 MONTH

8.    COMPUTER HARDWARE REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE   
+    Laptop repair and maintenance.
+    Desktop computer repair and maintenance.
+    Cloning and upgrading of systems.

WEEKEND AND EVEVING TRAINING PROGRAMME                                                                                   
The weekend and evening training programme also cover all the above mentioned modules.

EVENINGS: WEEKDAYS, 4:00PM – 6:30PM 1 MONTH


NOTE:
Participants will be given a certificate of participation at the end of the training.
